Xynclav-625 are tablets having Amoxycillin with Clavulanic acid as their main ingredients. These tablets are very useful in fighting with tough bacterial infections where oral antibiotics are required. Broadly it is a combination of three medicines: Amoxycillin, Clavulanic Acid and Lactobacillus.

Amoxycillin is an antibiotic that works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Amoxycillin against bacteria. This treats your infection, but may upset your digestive system by killing healthy gut bacteria as well. Lactobacillus is added to restore the balance of healthy bacteria.

Precautions for Amoxycillin, Clavulanic Acid & Lactobacillus Tablets

Amoxycillin, Clavulanic Acid & Lactobacillus Tablets may be taken every 8 hours or every 12 hours, depending on the dose prescribed by your doctor. It should be taken with a meal to reduce the possibility of getting an upset stomach. Many antibiotics can cause diarrhea therefore it’s advised to take plenty of fluid.
