Tobramycin and Fluorometholone Eye Drops

Tobramycin and Fluorometholone Eye Drops come with the brand name “Mahafluro – T” and are a combination of two medicines: Tobramycin and Fluorometholone Eye Drop which are used in the treatment of bacterial eye infections. Tobramycin eye drops belong to a drug class also categorized as an antibiotic. It works by preventing bacterial growth by stopping the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions in the patient’s eye. Fluorometholone is known as a strong steroid that blocks the formation of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the affected eye red, swollen, and itchy.
